Despite what some people say its a pretty amazing time we live in. Our access to information is at a level most people never dreamed possible. But with all that information comes the issue of sorting through it. When this applies to your health and wellness it can seem an impossible task.
This is where nutrition and wellness coaching comes into play. When you choose to work with me it takes all the guess work out of it. I’ve worked with many people over the years in multiple cities and countries and I’ve learned one thing:

I had been a personal trainer for years and had worked with young athletes to senior citizens and everything in between. However I found working with people in a fitness club setting only allowed me to help them an hour or so a week. I could try and give them as much info as I could but with the time constraints it was like sending them off to war armed with a Nerf football as a weapon. They were kind of on their own and I felt like this was not effective.
Now with the ability to keep in touch constantly online we’re looking at a new paradigm shift in how nutrition/wellness/fitness coaching can be conducted. If you have an internet connection we can work together. You live in Sydney, Australia? No Problem. How about Chicago, Illinois? Also no Problem.
Wherever you may be we can work together as we are able to keep contact daily and weekly as I guide you on the path to getting healthier and regaining your wellness
GETTING IT ALL STARTED
Here’s the logistics: whether you do 1 month, 3 month, 6 months or 6 years what we do first is get a look at what your day to day habits are right now.
- What are you eating?
- What have you been neglecting?
- How much activity are you involved in?
Once we get a 2-3 day snapshot of how things are going I can start doing an assessment on what you need depending on where you would like to be. Then we can start implementing new habits, slowly but surely to start taking on a new and healthier lifestyle.
MAKING SURE YOU GET SUSTAINED RESULTS
I won’t bombard you with too much right off the bat because studies show taking on too many new habits at once leaves you in most cases abandoning them all. We will start looking at what needs to be cut out of the diet and what needs to be added in to get the most out of your body and get it back to a state of true wellness.
As new and improved habits are added gradually before long you will find yourself engaged in a new fully healthy lifestyle without even realizing it, naturally and efficiently. I’ve got everything, recipes, how to shop better, how to read food labels, best types of exercises, best food choices when eating out. You will become fully equipped and educated on making the right decisions.
We will look at what you can do physically to start reaping the reward of exercise and improving your fitness. No you don’t have to be a part of a gym. If you are great but this will revolve around your lifestyle and level of activity so we can find what works for YOU personally.
Online coaching is the ultimate in convenience. If questions or concerns come up you can immediately write an email and know that if I don’t get it right away it won’t be long until I do. No booking appointments, no driving, no parking. You can even do it in your pyjamas!
We will check in weekly to look at where things are at in a more detailed assessment but questions can be answered at any point.

Accountability triggers results
People are always looking for the secret key to getting results such as a certain program, a specific supplement or maybe a specialty piece of equipment. There is however one actual secret key that can produce results; accountability
Accountability to a coach requires commitment to action. With no one to be accountable to people succumb to the “shoulda-coulda-woulda” phenomenon that leads to disastrous results
Research from the University of Sydney shows having direction by a coach leads to improved performance, Improved skills and behavior and overall development. This development unlocks motivation and meaning, positivity and readiness to change
There is also other research from the Weight Control and Diabetes Research Center that uncovered evidence that enlisting a coach improves weight loss results significantly:
In the study 44 participants were assigned a health coach and placed on a 24 week weight loss program. Participants lost an average of 9% of their body weight at the end of the program. This is an amazing and a very encouraging number is regards to the idea of health coaching.
And this is all made that much easier online when you just have to go to your computer in another room or pick up your phone or tablet to send an email.
Having to check in with someone who knows how to direct you towards your goals is the secret weapon in achieving them and regaining your wellness.
