Game Changers is a documentary put out by Netflix that touts the benefits of a plant-based diet. In this episode debunking Game Changers, it’s not about me saying you should avoid a plant-based diet, but is about poor science and ulterior motives.
My diet is plant-based but I believe there is some room for a little animal protein – as long as it’s from the right sources, and not as much as you may think.
The problem with these Netflix documentaries is that they tend to masquerade as informative health programs while ignoring what the science really says.
And that’s the problem I have with them. Let’s take a listen:
I hope you can see that I do believe that everyone’s diet should be plant-based. I just want to share the disservice documentaries like this do by cherry-picking data and not presenting the whole picture.
But, at the end of the day, it seems clear what their true intent was. Hopefully, this episode has encouraged you to not take things at face value and continue to do your own research. In debunking Game Changers, I hope that you learn more about how to take your health into your own hands, and be wary of entertainment that poses as fact.
Informing yourself is the best thing you can do to take control of your health.
