DDP Yoga Benefits And Amazing Weight Loss Stories
DDP Yoga has been introduced by three-time WCW World Heavy Weight Champion, two-time WCW United States Heavy Weight Champion, WWE Hall of Fame – the Great Prowrestler Diamond Dallas Page (DDP). Diamond Dallas Page has introduced this DDP yoga so that it can transform people’s lives and make it better. This article is about his look back on how he has helped wrestlers, and eventually, the common people realize and feel the impact of yoga can have on a person’s life, whether he is an athlete or a regular person.
He started practicing yoga after his spine injury after his spine specialists broke it down to him that he had a great journey of pro-wrestling, and he needs to rest now. For DDP giving up was not an option. He wanted to look for a way out, which was the first time when he embraced the thought of trying out yoga.
DDP Reshaped Yoga Into Something New
After he got into practicing, he realized yoga helps alleviate pain and improve flexibility. He found himself doing yoga every day, even while in rehab and after his knee surgery. Slowly he started changing his yoga positions with rebuild patience techniques. He felt spiritual feelings and relaxation positions were not meant for him, so he started applying for his own positions and changed movement patterns. He carried out squats and stretches with a slow-burn movement. He figured slow-burn movement muscle more muscle activation is required, so every time someone flexes his muscles, his heart needs to beat fast enough to handle that.
Jericho And A.J. Styles’ Return To The Ring
Chris Jericho has been a great supporter of DDP’s yoga since the old times. He had been in bad shape for quite some time, whose back was blown up and was completely unfit to wrestle anymore. Jericho reached out to DDP, followed his yoga plan, and according to DDP’s suggestions, Jericho recovered his back and was 85% pain-free within a few days. Within the next three months, he was 100% pain-free and went to compete for WrestleMania and put up great fights for 4 years and still in tip-top condition. Jericho was back in action and still, to this day, keeps on jumping around the ring like a 25-year-old. Jericho has been following DDP yoga for 5 years.
A.J Style, too contacted DDP to get him hooked up in a program that will improve his shape. A.J. drove from Georgia to Atlanta to meet DDP and fix his program. A.J. had been in a very bad shape with his back almost damaged, broken. The first thing DDP did was put on a heart monitor on him to monitor his heart rate while he practiced yoga with slow-burn movements. Doing yoga for the first time, put a lot of stress on his body and heart. DDP switched yoga positions and added dynamic resistance with old school calisthenics enabling an isometric movement and isokinetic. A.J. followed his routine, and within less than three months, he was back in the ring. Dustin, who is a 47-year-old, is moving around like he’s 20, all with the help of DDP Yoga. DDP Yoga has never been about weight loss but about building strength and sports rehab therapy.
Inspiring Stories Of Weight Loss Stories On “Resurrection Of Jake The Snake.”
Story Of Jake
Jake Roberts called DDP to inform that he has lost 190 pounds in 8 months. To lose so much weight, one needs to have a proper diet filled with well-balanced food and proper exercise. Jake admitted to DDP that he had joined Team DDP yoga, which already had 200,000 people following it. 62000 people carry out DDP yoga together as a team, encouraging and motivating each other. DDP asks everyone who joins and takes lessons from Team DDP Yoga to put one leg up high at the back of their head and take a picture even A.J. had been told to do that.
Jake, on the other hand, videoed the entire process of his weight loss and muscle gain program after joining the DDP Yoga team and turned it into a film. Jake Roberts is now releasing that film “Resurrection of Jake the Snake” on iTunes previewed by the Slamdance Film Festival. This is their first movie, and it says all about how DDP’s yoga has helped Jake Roberts with his transformation journey along with Scott hall, shaped them, and helped them win the WWE Hall of Fame. One of the producers, Chris bell, who did the movie “Bigger stronger faster,” gave Josh Rowland the movie to watch. Josh was overtaken by it and appreciated it as “a great story of hope and love and real compassion.”
Jared started DDP Yoga about 8 months ago. Jared documented the entire process. He videoed his first day at yoga sessions to keep it with himself as a journal. Surprisingly his video went viral. There was nothing musical, disturbing, or funny in the video. The reason why it went viral because it was inspirational. Since Jared was 510 pounds when he started DDP Yoga, his weight loss journey has been a big success.
Schott Hall And Regular People:
An acquaintance online suggested DDP help, Schott Hall. Schott Hall had already retired from professional wrestling. Schott Hall wanted to get back in shape and contacted DDP for help. DDP’s yoga session transformed Schott and made him the way he is. Now Schott’s son is a 24-year-old wrestler and went to a championship tournament in Japan.
Not only ex-wrestlers but also average people are accepting DDP yoga, sharing their stories, posting about their transformation stories, and how much DDP yoga has helped them. Stacey Morris, a DDP Yoga subscriber who spoke on one of Jamie Logie’s podcast about DDP Yoga and how much it had sharpened her life and how she lost 180 pounds in 18 months. Now she is a gluten-free, non-GMO, health-conscious chef.
DDP can be contacted on Twitter, as Twitter is his main social media platform. He answers plenty of questions there. He also launched an app on Google play, DDP Yoga has their own website, and they are going to drop their podcasts on iTunes soon. DDP started a new program called ‘Beginner Beginner Workout.’ He does live sessions often. People who are interested in DDP yoga can catch him at any of these places and get to know more about DDP Yoga.
Wrapping It Up
I’ve always been an athlete and thought that yoga couldn’t provide the same benefits as my “intense” training. The first time I did hot yoga, I felt weaker and less physical than I have ever felt in my life.
I realized how tough yoga really is, but also, how helpful it is both physically and mentally. Diamond Dallas Page has taken yoga to the next level and the DDP yoga benefits are many.
Hopefully, you enjoyed this look back on my interview with not just a wrestling legend, but a man really changing people’s lives today.
DDP yoga sessions are also available on DVDs. People who do not prefer DVDs can also find the entire workout routine and sessions online of DPPyoga.com. Being overweight does not mean food and diet should be limited.
DDP yoga help to reduce weight and also let people enjoy a good meal. Losing hope is not an option. Everyone has the power to turn their life around. All you need is to re-program your brain and believe that it’s the heart that will help you keep going.
